   Nancy is trained in Cranio~Sacral Therapy and is skilled as well in Basic Acupressure and Somato~Emotional Release®.  Using a light touch generally no more than the weight of a nickel, she monitors the rhythm of your cranio~sacral system to detect potential restrictions and imbalances.  Delicate manual techniques to the cranial, spinal, and facial bones create natural openings for release of protected or blocked areas caused by trauma, illness or disease. The entire process is relaxing and restorative. All bodywork is performed on a person fully clothed.  This work strengthens your body’s ability to take better care of you. 

Because of its’ impact on so many body systems, Crainio~Sacral Therapy is practiced today by a wide variety of healthcare professionals. It has been known to alleviate a range of illness, pain and dysfunction.  Nancy reports her clients come looking for relief from everything to migraine headaches, chronic neck and back pain, to post-traumatic distress sysndrome, fibromyalgia and  TMJ! (Nancy is trained to do CST ‘mouth work’ as well!)  

Nancy began her training in alternative manual medicine twelve years ago while practicing as a pediatric occupational therapy assistant. She wanted more effective direct care for her small clients.  Today, she welcomes any opportunity to work with children strictly as an Integrative Energy Bodyworker and is pleased to hold space for children with physical, emotional or neurological challenges on a sliding scale basis, when necessary to do so.         

Nancy’s fee is reasonably priced. Your first 15 minutes is complimentary.  $65.00 for a 60 minute session.  $1.00 per additional minute. Book four sessions and the fifth session is free.  CST is now reimbursable in Maine by major insurance companies when referred by a physician.
